Two people died in a car accident on the 91 freeway in Anaheim over the weekend.
The California Highway Patrol responded to a crash on the westbound lanes near Harbor Boulevard early Sunday morning, February 6th, before 2:15 am.
Officers found the vehicle with three people inside who were not responsive.
It was reported the two decedents were passengers in the vehicle. They were identified as Crystal Villalobos, 35, of Montebello and Ignacio Bautista, 42, of Whittier. It is understood that one of the passengers died on scene while the other passed away at the hospital.
At this point, it is not unknown what caused the car accident. If it is determined the accident was caused by someone’s negligence, the surviving family for the two passengers may pursue a claim for damages for the wrongful death of their family member.
