A Mini Cooper driver was injured Tuesday night after crashing into Peter’s Gourmade Burgers in Tustin.
At approximately 9:11 PM, a white Mini Cooper veered out of control and crashed into the burger restaurant located at 14300 Newport Avenue. Upon arriving at the scene, authorities found the vehicle inside the establishment, heavily damaged.
The driver, an adult male, was found nearby and received medical attention before being transported to OC Global Medical Center. His current condition is unknown.
The collision caused significant disruption inside the restaurant, requiring firefighters to stabilize the structure before removing the vehicle. The restaurant had closed just over an hour before the crash, which helped prevent additional injuries.
The incident is under investigation, with speed suspected to be a contributing factor. No other injuries were reported.
